Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Mixer Driver to join our team in Oman. As a Mixer Driver, you will play a critical role in the construction industry by safely transporting ready-mix concrete to construction sites. Your expertise in operating heavy vehicles and commitment to safety will contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

Operate a ready-mix concrete mixer truck to deliver concrete to construction sites.

Follow assigned routes and schedules while considering traffic and road conditions.

Ensure the proper loading and unloading of concrete, maintaining its quality during transit.

Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the safety of fellow road users and pedestrians.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the mixer truck, reporting any issues promptly.

Maintain a clean and organized mixer truck, both internally and externally.

Communicate with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate delivery times and locations.

Handle necessary paperwork, including delivery tickets and inspection reports.

Maintain accurate records of delivered loads and mileage.

Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

Handle minor maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and basic troubleshooting.

Requirements:

Valid Omani heavy vehicle driver's license (Mixer Truck endorsement is a plus).

Previous experience as a Mixer Driver or in a similar role is preferred.

Good understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.

Ability to operate a ready-mix concrete mixer truck effectively and safely.

Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate loading and delivery of concrete.

Basic mechanical knowledge for performing minor vehicle maintenance tasks.

Effective communication skills to interact with dispatch, site personnel, and team members.

Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, and week
