Role & responsibilities
-Maintain and update Management Information System (MIS) reports.
-Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management.
-Track shipments & provide reports to management
- Plan and supervise the shipments from manufactures to buyers
- Ensure that all documents pertaining to the shipment are properly filed.
- Monitor, report, and manage transportation costs.
- Collect, compile, and analyze data from various sources to create insightful reports.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across different platforms and databases.
- Good Communication skills - verbal and written.
- Generating and distributing management reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
- Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues
- Report on inventory activities and variances
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
- Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels
Preferred candidate profile
- 0 to 1 years of relevant experience in MIS or logistic department
- Proficiency in data analysis and MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- experience in logistics will be an advantage.
- Able to multi-task and work independently.
