Job Title: Merchandiser

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Merchandiser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies to drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The Merchandiser will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, manage product assortments, and optimize inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market Analysis: Research and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform merchandising decisions.

- Product Assortment: Develop and manage product assortments to meet customer needs and drive sales.

- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels, manage stock levels, and minimize waste.

- Pricing and Promotions: Develop and implement pricing strategies and promotional plans to drive sales and profitability.

- Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate favorable terms.

- Sales and Profitability: Analyze sales data and profitability metrics to identify opportunities for growth.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with buying, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of merchandising strategies.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

- 2-5 years of experience in merchandising or a related field.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and merchandising software.

- Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and retail industry dynamics.
