Key Responsibilities:

Familiarize and implement the procedures as stated in the Project Manual

Project monitoring in a strategic manner. Ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations in the design and installation of MEP systems

Generate brief program with PM and meet project deadlines

Familiar with design of MEP, Promote energy efficiency and other sustainability issues

Ensure that all building services meet technical standard and local authority regulations

Liaise with service engineers & technicians, surveyors, architectural technologists and

other construction professionals

Must review & prepare plans, details, specifications, and cost estimates of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and general piping systems.

Provide technical advice to staff designers, supervisors, inspectors, and contracting service providers regarding the installation and maintenance of MEP systems.

Analyze mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.

The MEP manager must identify problems in the design and planning and manage and deliver multiple projects.

Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Project Manager.
