Required Skills:

 Responsible for daily shift-wise production planning

 To maintain target production output with rejection controls and quality.

 To monitor the production process and re-schedule, whenever required.

 Responsible for inventory control during the shift

 Responsible for manpower utilization during the shift

 To maintain shift-wise production data in terms of quantity produced,% rejections, down-time,

Material consumption, power consumption.

 To take measures to decrease the operating cost.

 To minimise total downtime due to various factors

 To implement quality guidelines, tools, techniques etc

 To identify new improved processes for productivity improvement

 To co-ordinate with maintenance staff for break-down and preventive maintenance of furnace

 To ensure proper furnace lining as and when done

 To implement safety guidelines in the department

 To ensure proper house-keeping in the department

 To deal efficiently with the labour in the department
