Required Skills:

Responsible for daily shift-wise production planning

To maintain target production output with rejection controls and quality.

To monitor the production process and re-schedule, whenever required.

Responsible for inventory control during the shift

Responsible for manpower utilization during the shift

To maintain shift-wise production data in terms of quantity produced,% rejections, down-time,

Material consumption, power consumption.

To take measures to decrease the operating cost.

To minimise total downtime due to various factors

To implement quality guidelines, tools, techniques etc

To identify new improved processes for productivity improvement

To co-ordinate with maintenance staff for break-down and preventive maintenance of furnace

To ensure proper furnace lining as and when done

To implement safety guidelines in the department

To ensure proper house-keeping in the department

To deal efficiently with the labour in the department
