Answer questions about hospital services, appointments, procedures, and directions.
Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents (., registration, insurance).
Direct patients to appropriate departments or areas based on their needs.
Phone and Email Management:
Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments, medical staff, or healthcare providers.
Schedule appointments for patients and provide reminders for upcoming visits.
Respond to emails or messages regarding appointment inquiries or general hospital information.
Patient Registration and Record Keeping:
Verify patient information, including insurance details and personal contact information, during check-in.
Update and maintain patient records in the hospitals Electronic Health Records (EHR) system or database.
Ensure confidentiality of patient data and adhere to hospital privacy and HIPAA guidelines.
Administrative and Clerical Support:
Assist with billing procedures and insurance verification.
File and organize patient records, charts, and other documents in compliance with hospital protocols.
Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate with various hospital departments as needed.
Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
