Under the aegis of the JM Financial Foundation, the philanthropic arm of JM Financial Group, the foundation is committed to integrated rural transformation, through its ongoing long-term grassroots CSR projects, in states of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Maharashtra. These projects are implemented either with local non-profit organizations or self-implemented. Through our projects, we have been able to reach out to rural communities in some of the most difficult terrains in Jamui, Giridhi & Palghar Districts. Project Name: JMFF Nidan Kendra (Mobile Health Unit) Position: Medical officer.

Location: Sikandra Block, Jamui, Bihar.

Project Duration: 5 year

Project Overview:

The project aims to improve the health and nutritional status across Sikandra Block of Jamui district Bihar as a part of integrated rural development Project. The primary project objectives are given below:

 Extend accessible, affordable and preventive health care services to under resourced households in Sikandra block covering 68 villages.

 To conduct monthly behavioral change interventions on various health issues among all villages in convergence with local administration, village level community organizations, non-profit organizations and other important stakeholders in health department at State level.

 To undertake focus approach for 50% of target patients like Anemia, Diabetes, and Hypertension, Malnutrition to overcome their illness / management of it.

 To ensure needful referral & complete follow up of 50% of such cases
