Responsibilities and Duties
Operational:
1. Shall lead the team for patient service delivery and effective functioning of Mobile Medical Unit
2. Provide 24 field services or trips as per approved schedule with a full staff. 24 days in a calendar month including Saturdays and Sundays
3. Providing health services for a minimum of 6 hours of patient consultation services between 9 AM - 5 PM.
4. Ensure all patient records including prescriptions are updated online.
5. Attend meetings with District level Health authorities as and when required.
6. Works as a mentor to other health human resources in the mobile medical unit
Clinical:
1. Shall be responsible for the effective implementation of primary, preventive, curative, Diagnostic and promotive health care services along with emergency first aid care services to the people in designated areas / locations.
2. Ensure that all patients are registered, examined subject to necessary lab investigations counselled treated and provide necessary medicines and are regularly followed-up.
3. Shall refer patients to the nearest health facility for further tertiary care health services.
4. Shall take immediate appropriate actions during the outbreak of diseases, epidemics etc. and inform MoIC at PHC and concerned administrative office at Block level and district level regarding the same.
5. Should render adequate assistance as per DHS directions and maintain a record of the same.
6. Shall liaison with village health and sanitation committee, elected representatives and local authorities in order to mobilize and counsel the local people for the uptake of better service delivery
