JOB DESCRIPTION: The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for the receipting, ID Check, data entry and processing of specimens for Pathology Laboratory testing as well as preparation and dispatch of specimens to specialized referral laboratories. Medical laboratory scientists have a wide variety of responsibilities and duties, including Examining and analyzing blood, body fluids, tissues, and cells. Relaying test results to physicians. Utilizing microscopes, cell counters, and other high-precision lab equipment.

JOB OVERVIEW: Lab Technician responsibilities include:

Receiving, labelling and analyzing samples (blood, toxic, tissue etc.) Designing and executing laboratory testing according to standard procedures. Conducting experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods.

PROFILE: MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS DIPLOMA

EXPERIENCE: FRESHERS/ EXPERIENCE

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Permanent

Full-time (240 days including holiday).

This is an annualized role so hours worked may vary from month to month.

The salary will be paid monthly.
