We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Medical Coding Tutor to join our dedicated team. As a Medical Coding Tutor, you will be responsible for instructing and guiding students through the intricacies of medical coding, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for successful careers in healthcare coding and billing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical coding, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education.

Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:

- Develop a comprehensive and up-to-date curriculum that covers key areas of medical coding, including CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS Level II, and healthcare regulations.

- Incorporate real-world scenarios and case studies to provide practical application of coding principles.

2. Instructional Delivery:

- Conduct engaging and interactive classes, workshops, and training sessions on medical coding.

- Utilize various teaching methods, such as lectures, hands-on exercises, and group discussions, to accommodate different learning styles.

3. Individualized Support:

- Provide one-on-one assistance to students, addressing their specific challenges and questions related to medical coding.

- Offer guidance on complex coding scenarios and ensure students develop a deep understanding of coding guidelines.

4. Stay Updated on Coding Guidelines:

- Keep abreast of the latest updates and changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and industry practices.

- Integrate current coding practices and compliance requirements into the curriculum.

5. Assessment and Evaluation:

- Develop assessments and evaluations to measure students' proficiency in medical coding.

- Provide constructive feedback on coding assignments and exercises to facilitate improvement.
