Lead Mechanical Technician Experience in Waste Water Treatment Plant

Educational background: Diploma/Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or experienced mechanical technician

Professional background:

5-10 years’ experience as a Mechanical Technician in an industrial plant (Pref Water/Sewage treatment plant or Oil

& Gas) including at least 2 years in a Lead Mechanical Technician/Foreman role in a Waste Water Treatment Plant

or metalworking industrial sector.

Languages: English – Fluent (Speak, Write & Read)

Technical skills (including computer skills)

- Tools & spare: Measuring tape, Vernier, Bearing, Mechanical seal,

- Activities: Oil changing, Greasing of equipment’s, Vibration, lifting equipment’s knowledge, assembly and

disassembly of electromechanical equipment..

- Knowledge of equipment’s: Submersible pumps, blower, compressor with major parts. GENSET, diesel

machines.

- Trouble shooting skill: Major work what they did, pump vibration, reason for amps high in the pump. Oil

color change, use of PRV& NRV.

- Safety culture: Basic PPE for site, Work at height & Toxic gas situations

Behaviour skills: Positive and cooperative attitude / strong leadership and communication skills / Problem solving

skills, proactivity and commitment to stick to strict deadlines.

- Coordinate actions in response to emergency situations

- Act as lead and coordinator for maintenance activities that involve a team

- Masters the technical procedures for maintenance and troubleshooting (electrical, mechanical or I&C)

- Report clearly relevant facts and important information and communicate fluently in English with SCADA

Operators, Supervisors and Managers

- Ensures compliance to the Quality-Safety-Environment requirements

- Participate in root cause analysis and remedy

- Find and suggest improvements related with optimizations of process, assets or HSE
