Job description
The Plant Engineering supervisor will provide maintenance, electric, and hydraulic engineering services and support.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Capable to oversee and support the maintenance, electric, and hydraulic work teams.
Understanding the departments KPI and work towards achieve the best result.
Capable to prepare work schedules for plant maintenance teams.
Team Handling.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensures that the facility’s equipment and machines are maintained properly and working correctly.
In-hand technical support to team members during breakdown / planned maintenance.
Oversees the facility’s maintenance program; identifies and analyzes equipment or machinery failures and takes corrective and preventive actions.
Provides technical training to team members.
Cross functional co-ordination to ensure smooth workflow for team member.
Material follow-ups and spare parts management.
Coordinate’s work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Fluent vocabulary and mail communication skills.
Good experience in solving critical mechanical problems in CNC machines like ball screw / spindle repair or replacement activities.
Good knowledge of electrical troubleshooting in CNC and other shopfloor machineries inclusive of EOT , WT cranes and root cause analysis of them.
Good knowledge of utility maintenance like DG and Compressor.
Good knowledge in machine erecting and commissioning activities.
Education and Experience:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
Five years of experience in manufacturing industry preferred
