Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineering

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative Mechanical Engineer to work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems and components.

Create detailed design specification and documentation.

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Use CAD software to create 3D models and simulations.

Perform stress and thermal analysis on designs.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Stay up-to-date with technological advancements in the field.

Participate in prototyping and testing phases.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting.

Present designs and findings to stakeholders.

Maintain clear and accurate documentation.

Optimize designs for efficiency and performance.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Ensure designs meet safety and quality standards.

Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers.

Develop and implement design processes and best practices.

Continuously improve design methodologies and tools.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven working experience in mechanical engineering.

Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computation fluid dynamics (CFD).

Hands on experience with computer aided engineering (CAM) and computer aided manufacturing (CAE).

Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (eg: - Auto Cad, ProE or other)

Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar).
