Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repairs:
o Perform routine and preventive maintenance on hot forging equipment, including presses, hoppers, and heating systems.
o Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
o Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
Equipment Optimization:
o Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to improve efficiency and quality.
o Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
o Implement modifications and upgrades to enhance equipment capabilities.
Safety and Compliance:
o Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
o Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
o Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on safety practices and equipment handling.
Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
o Prepare and submit reports on equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and incident investigations.
o Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Continuous Improvement:
o Participate in root cause analysis for recurring equipment issues.
o Propose and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
o Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to hot forging.
