• Understand customer requirements & conduct technical interactions for development clarity.
• Conduct periodical meetings with customer & arrive at common understandings.
• Coordinate with other departments & collect inputs for new product development.
• Work on the costing for development of new product & get the approval from Customer.
Design & Coordination:
• Prepare design as per specifications & get the approval from customer.
• Give clearance for development of moulds/tools for the new product.
• Give compound task target to the Technical Manager.
Testing & Approval:
• Conduct testing of product & maintain necessary reports.
• Get the approval from customer on the sample & complete documentation.
Customer Management & Coordination:
• Understand customer complaints related to rubber compound & provide appropriate solution.
• Maintain coordination with other departments & resolve compound related problems.
Continual Improvement:
• Plan, design & implement innovative production concepts, practices for continual improvement & performance.
• Monitor the compound specifications & suggest changes for productivity improvement & cost control.
Optimization of Batch Weight:
• Study the machine capacity and increase/reduce batch weight to improve effectiveness.
Coaching, motivating & developing high performing team:
• Identify training needs & conduct training programs for staff/operators to improve capability.
• Provide opportunities for growth of employees & development of potential.
• Design goals/KPI for subordinates & conduct performance appraisals. Provide feedback on performance. Coach & motivate employees for superior performance.
