Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for clients. The candidate will play a key role in understanding client requirements, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring proposals are competitive, accurate, and meet project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proposal Preparation:

o Analyze client requirements, specifications, and tender documents to develop proposals.

o Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary inputs for proposals.

2. Cost Estimation and Budgeting:

o Calculate costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, for proposals.

o Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing.

3. Client Coordination:

o Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and provide technical support.

o Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings to address technical queries.

4. Documentation and Submission:

o Develop complete proposal packages, including technical and commercial documentation.

o Ensure timely submission of proposals to clients while adhering to deadlines.

5. Market and Product Knowledge:

o Stay updated on industry standards, trends, and advancements in mechanical engineering solutions.

o Maintain knowledge of competitor offerings to enhance proposal competitiveness.

6. Team Collaboration:

o Work with the sales and project teams to align proposals with organizational goals.

o Provide feedback to design and production teams based on client interactions.
