Hiring Mechanical engineer - Estimation

Experience: 1- 10 yrs

Location: Kombodijamakkal, Chalakudy, Thrissur, Kerala

Industry: EPC - Mining, Steel, Cement

The position will be based in Kerala and primarily responsible for project estimations and enabling the company to win the projects and execute within budget.

The target customers are mainly cement, steel, mining, aluminum, etc. with major emphasis for projects on bulk material handling systems, pollution control systems, heavy duty power transmission systems, on EPC basis.

Job responsibilities.

Get realistic inputs from customer inquiries through discussions/site visit by local sales/project team

Develop workable concept with best operational excellence and good engineering practices, on-table discussion with rest of the team to optimize the concept

Splitting the concepts to component level and estimation of all functions of the project, as accurately as possible

Risk analysis of the project and covering the same by developing adequate specific terms and conditions

Submitting the proposals in a clear and concise manner to customer, expressing our specialties and advantageous for customers to win over the competition

Participate in technical meetings/clarifications/negotiations and win the project, while ensuring the financial goals of the company

Transfer the project details to engineering team and assist them in developing the project in detail.
