Job Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Maintenance: Execute and oversee the regular maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, conveyors, and other machinery commonly used in industrial environments.
2. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans in order to reduce the risk of breakdowns and ensure equipment operates efficiently. This includes conducting regular inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and calibration as necessary.
3. Reactive Maintenance: Respond to and resolve any mechanical issues or breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimize production downtime. Troubleshoot the root cause of failures and provide appropriate corrective actions.
4. Equipment Installations: Collaborate with the project team to install new machinery and equipment, ensuring all installations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications. Provide technical assistance during new equipment acceptance testing.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections in compliance with company procedures. Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance trends, and recommend improvements when necessary.
6. Spare Parts Management: Coordinate and monitor the inventory of spare parts required for regular maintenance and emergency repairs. Ensure availability of required spare parts and manage the budget efficiently.
7. Safety and Compliance: Take the lead in adhering to all safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of safety within the mechanical maintenance team. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety awareness programs.
8. Training and Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical maintenance methods, technologies, and equipment. Train and mentor junior staff as required to enhance their
