The duties of the Mechanical Designer are amongst others:

• Application of the Design Process,

• Check the completeness of the inputs received from the Technical Project Manager

and basic engineering department in order to proceed to his/her work,

• Provide the engineers with information needed for the project progress,

• Issue the execution documentation (mainly GA and detailed drawings) in compliance

with internal standards and contractual requirements,

• Issue the execution documentation in compliance with administrative standards,

• Issue BOM’s (bill of quantities) for raw material purchasing,

• Issue and update the standard technical documentation,

• Keep his competencies updated with regards to the needs of the Energy Business,

• Be proactive in the continuous improvement and REX (return on experience)

processes.
