Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in designing packaging machines using Solidworks 3D and 2D software. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing packaging machinery that meets the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop new packaging machines and equipment using Solidworks 3D and 2D software.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet customer specifications, budget, and timelines.
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and schematics of designs for fabrication and assembly.
• Perform necessary calculations, simulations, and tests to ensure that designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct design reviews, provide feedback and recommendations to improve designs.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the smooth transition of designs to production.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing packaging machines.
• Proficient in Solidworks 3D and 2D software.
• Strong knowledge of design and manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
