Job Description

Sketch and draw up designs using input from engineers on the team •

Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs. •

Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs. •

Overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing. •

Documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics. •

Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets. • Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals. • Prepare calculations on the proposed machine before completing technical drawings • Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis •

Provide support during the building and installation process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to design specifications
