The Market Research Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on the competitive landscape in the assigned industry. This includes identifying market trends, consumer behavior, and competitors’ strategies. The Market Research Analyst will report on these findings to stakeholders across the company in order to help the company make strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
Develop competitive information briefs with key insights on market trends and emerging opportunities
Conduct interviews with customers, prospects, founders and industry experts to gather qualitative and quantitative data
Lead the development of market research surveys covering a range of topics
Perform extensive primary research to identify new opportunities
Perform competitor analysis by reviewing their websites, social media posts, and other online media
Provide analysis of trends and feedback in order to inform product and service decisions
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns in order to improve campaign strategy
Participate in competitive analysis projects to identify new opportunities
Report on findings to stakeholders across the company in order to help them make strategic decisions
Maintain contact databases including customer contact information, purchase history, and other relevant data using CRM software (. Salesforce)
