Required Skills:

 To ensure inspection of all quantities on daily basis

 To provide daily feedback on quality related issues of previous day’s production

 To manage layout of inspection quantity

 To review the dimension check sheets for regular items

 To maintain records of inspected quantity, rejected quantity (gross and net)

 To help in analysing internal as well as external rejections and brain-storm on corrective action

 To communicate the corrective measures to respective department heads for further

implementation

 To measure wall thickness of castings as per check-list

 To check the castings by gauges as per checklist

 To participate in discussion with customers on quality related issues

 To ensure daily output from dedicated fettlers

 To check the quality of fettled castings as per customers requirement

 To maintain proper records related to fettlers, their performance

 To segregate non-confirming and ok castings

 To follow up for rework of castings

 To follow up the fettling activity from the fettling contractor

 To follow up for rework of castings

 To help in analysing internal as well as external rejections and brain-storm on corrective action

 To communicate the corrective measures to respective department heads for further

implementation

 To measure wall thickness of castings as per check-list

 To check the castings by gauges as per checklist

 To participate in discussion with customers on quality related issues
