Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Marble Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and installing marble and other stone materials to create high-quality and visually appealing structures and surfaces. This role requires a strong understanding of stone properties, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines. The Marble Mason will play a key role in producing exceptional marble installations that meet the standards and expectations of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Cut and shape marble and other stone materials according to precise measurements and design specifications.
Install marble and stone surfaces, including floors, countertops, walls, and decorative structures, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing finish.
Utilize various tools and equipment, such as saws, grinders, and polishers, to manipulate and refine stone materials effectively.
Inspect and select high-quality marble and stone materials for use in different projects, ensuring consistency in color, texture, and quality.
Collaborate with designers and clients to understand project requirements and provide input on the feasibility and practicality of designs.
Repair and refurbish existing marble installations, addressing issues such as cracks, chips, and surface imperfections.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the proper storage and handling of tools and materials.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance skillset and contribute to the continuous improvement of our marble installation processes.
