Research and device new techniques to increase Energy conservation
o To maintain and monitor the energy conservation report.
o To research for the best practices in electrical energy conservation.
o To design a study in order to identify areas where energy conservation is needed and
accordingly decide upon the action items.
o To conduct the study while carefully collecting and monitoring data. Analyse the data
o To shortlist and implement the most suitable solution
ï‚· Responsible for Statutory compliance
o To make schedules for preventive maintenance asper factory compliance
o To regularly Inspect the corrosive storage tanks
o To conduct basket balancing of the centrifuge
o To facilitate and ensure compliance of external testing of pressure vessels
o To validate HVAC system and its documentation
o To calibrate/maintain the lifting of tools and tackles, material hoists-weights and
measures of mechanical balances
ï‚· Responsible for planning and execution of preventive maintenance
o To prepare and implement the preventive maintenance schedule for critical equipment
o To ensure compliance of the preventive maintenance checklist
o To maintain MTBF of critical equipment
o To troubleshoot if MTBF is not according to standards
o To periodically check the glassline integrity of reactor
ï‚· Responsible for planning and execution of Breakdown maintenance
o To facilitate the work permit approval process
o To allocate manpower to attend to the breakdown
o To perform a Root Cause Analysis of the breakdown and ensure the smooth functioning
of the plant with minimum downtime
o To document the same and recommend in CAPA
ï‚· Identify new methods and design processes to reduce costs
o To continuously identify new methods to save budgets and also identify newer
vendors with good quality supplies
o To reduce procurement of spares based on knowledge of equipment history
ï‚· Support during erection and commissioning of new plants/projects
o To lead the designing and specification of new equipment
