 Troubleshoot and Conduct Root Cause Analysis.

 Machine Monitoring and Maintenance

 Ensure proper tooling assembly is securely mounted in the designated

machine tool area.

 Adjust the gripper settings according to specific job requirements

to ensure proper handling of materials.

 Set the shear knife gap according to the setting sheet report to

achieve accurate cutting and shaping.

 Set up and calibrate the punch sensor in accordance with job

requirements to ensure precise measurement.

 Set feed rolls and infeed bushings based on the defined heat setting for

optimal material handling.

 Update and upload job-specific recipes on the machine’s HMI,

ensuring alignment with the setting sheet.

 Adjust ejector settings in accordance with the job setting sheet for

effective material ejection.

 Set the opening and closing angles of the gripper according to job

specifications to maintain production quality.

 Perform tool changes as needed based on tool life to minimize

downtime and maintain production quality.

 Accurately complete gap analysis reports and take corrective

actions when necessary.

 Adjust shear knife spacers as required to maintain consistent cutting

performance.

 Modify machine settings as needed to avoid quality issues such as

under fill, radius discrepancies, out-of-spec forging, burrs, or

cavity defects.

 Perform CLIT and regular checks per the defined schedule to

ensure the machine and tools are functioning properly. Maintain detailed records of tool changes, tracking tool life and

performance.

 Inspect jobs on the conveyor during production and make real

time adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.

 Ensure the shear knife is in good condition, and maintain detailed

records of inspections and maintenance.

 Monitor water temperature and pressure during operation,

maintaining records for consistent machine performance.
