Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in plastics design, 3D printing, and drone frame design. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing innovative and efficient mechanical systems and components for various applications, with a focus on plastic materials, 3D printing technologies, and drone frame design. Your role will encompass design for manufacturing, prototyping, and product development.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a strong focus on plastics design, 3D printing, drone frame design, design for manufacturing, and prototyping.

- Proficient in CAD software (., SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent) for 3D modeling and surface design.

- Strong understanding of plastics engineering principles, including material selection, injection molding, and structural analysis.

- Experience with 3D printing technologies, including various additive manufacturing processes and associated software tools.

- Familiarity with drone systems and their components, including frame design, propulsion systems, and payload integration.

- Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles and techniques to ensure efficient production and assembly processes.

- Proficiency in conducting design analysis and simulations using FEA tools (., ANSYS, Abaqus) is desirable.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
