As a Linux Administrator, youll be responsible for maintaining and developing Linux infrastructure technology. Your role includes designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure to ensure 24x7x365 uptime service. Duties and Responsibilities
Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to ensure continuous uptime.
Engineer systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs.
Implement best practices for managing systems and services across all environments.
Perform fault finding, analysis, and logging information for reporting performance exceptions.
Monitor system performance and engage in capacity planning.
Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware.
Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks.
Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
Collaborate with other teams to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
Qualifications
Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar relevant field.
In-depth knowledge of Linux distributions (., RedHat, CentOS, Debian).
Hands-on experience with MySQL and/or MariaDB.
Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts.
Expertise in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting.
Solid understanding of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP.
Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE, and LPIC) are advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
