Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate linux administrator with the extensive background in managing web application & website servers

Keywords:Linux, Ubuntu, AWS, Web hosting, cPanel, Apache, Tomcat, Server hardening, GIT, email server, Server Troubleshooting, Docker, Wordpress Installation, PHP installation, User support, Client support.

Desired Skills:

EShould be familiar with server administration concepts. Including SAMBA, web server, NFS, LAN/WAN concepts, networking and email server

Must have experience on AWS services.

Must have experience on Cpanel, web hosting & domain configurations

Ability to create email accounts & manage issues email related issues

Should be familiar with installation, configuration and maintaining Linux servers

Knowledge or experience about server hardening/security

Analyse and diagnose system failures, recover and restore operating systems and file systems

Knowledge of server security (. intrusion detection systems), data backup/recovery methods, infrastructure monitoring, incident management and reporting, website monitoring alerts

Troubleshoot and resolve complex systems hardware and software issues.

Should be flexible with scripting languages for automating basic stuff using - Bash, Python

Must have excellent communication skills.

AWS certification will be an added advantage.

24/7 availability for support during non-working hours

Responsibilities:

Manage Linux based servers

Manage & optimized servers on AWS

Manage & optimize of mySQL database

Manage GIT server

Resolve email & email server related issues

Installation & setup of PHP based web applications, & websites wordpress, codeigniter, magento etc.

Monitor all web application services & website for any downtime
