Responsibilities

System administration and User management.

Network planning, setup and Access control.

Application and Network Monitoring.

Security and Software update Management.

Disaster Recovery and Backup management.

Incident management and User support.

Customer support and Issue escalation.

Documentation of processes, systems and network maps.

Must have Skills

Experience in administration of Debian or Ubuntu Servers.

Experience in administration Routers, Switches, Firewall and LAN.

Experience in DevOps, Server setups is a must have skill.

Experience in installing and managing Docker containers.

Experience in writing shell scripts for job automation.

Experience in administration of Samba, LDAP, FTP, Firewall, IP Tables, etc.

Experience in merging and managing multiple internet connections over single LAN.

Experience in Domain controller setup for Windows Authentication & Roaming profiles.

Experience in administration of Monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, etc.

Experience in development environments setup for PHP, Python, Nodejs, etc.

Experience in hosting developed applications with web servers like Nginx, Apache, etc.

Experience in installation of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

Experience in managing AWS services like EC2, S3, EFS, ELB, RDS, SQS and SNS.

Good to have Skills

Certification in any Linux OS is an added advantage.

Experience in Kubernetes and Container Orchestration is an added advantage.

Experience in Google Cloud, Azure Cloud services is good to have.

Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet is an added advantage
