Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, negotiate, analyse, and approve various contractual and legal

documents, relating to the business activities like contracts, agreements, pleadings,

affidavits, notices. opinions etc. and other related or ancillary legal documents.

• Represent, coordinate and follow up on all on-going and future legal cases/matters.

• Assist in coordination & strategy discussions with attorneys for new and ongoing

litigation, cost impact, coordinating with external counsels, drafting, reviewing

notices, affidavits, reply to notices, court documents, etc.

• Ensure and oversee timely submission of relevant documents and returns to external

stakeholders / regulatory authorities and represent the company for resolution of any

legal issue or escalation

• Ensure effective litigation management of all cases – identification, appointment and

management of external litigation partners, filing of cases and monitoring their

progress, and provide timely updates to the business leadership

• Represent firm/directors/partners/employees in matters related to Civil or Criminal

cases at various police stations/courts/or any other legal related statutory office.

• Ensure safe and custody of all original documents by the company’s legal teams.

Maintain proper documentation in the corporate office with regards to all legal cases,

property/title documents.

• Liaison with local authorities both on Regulatory and other aspects and provide

general legal advice to the business teams, finance, brand protection, corporate

investigations.

• Conduct legal audits of various functions to ensure compliance with the policies and

procedures

• Maintain complete secrecy and privacy related to all matters of the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

• LLB/LLM from a reputed Law College.

• Rich experience in litigation, related business advisory work and managing in-house

processes

• Strategic planning, resource allocation and familiarity with industry standards,

equipment and technical.
