Documentation & Drafting

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including Sale Deeds, Lease Agreements, and Joint Development Agreements

Prepare and vet legal documents such as MOU, NDAs, Power of Attorney, etc

Conduct due diligence and title verification for properties

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with laws such as RERA (Real Estate Regulation and Development Act), local property laws, and environmental regulations

Obtain necessary approvals and permissions from government authorities for real estate projects (., land acquisition, zoning, environmental clearance)

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

Handle property-related litigation and disputes, liaise with external legal counsel as required

Manage disputes regarding land acquisition, tenant relationships, and contract breaches

Represent the company in courts, tribunals, and other judicial authorities as necessary

Liaison & Coordination

Coordinate with government authorities, local municipal bodies, and regulatory agencies for legal clearances and approvals

Maintain relationships with external lawyers, consultants, and advisors

Legal Advisory

Provide legal advice to the management on real estate transactions and investments

Conduct risk analysis and suggest measures to mitigate legal risks

Stay updated on changes in property law, regulations, and real estate market trends

Contract Management

Maintain a repository of all legal documents, contracts, and agreements

Monitor contract renewals, obligations, and compliance with legal requirements
