Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Legal Advisor to join our team in the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will provide legal guidance on various matters related to real estate transactions, compliance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Legal Counsel: Provide expert legal advice on real estate transactions, contracts, leases, and property disputes.
• Contract Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to property acquisitions, sales, leasing, and development.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations, including zoning and environmental regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, advising management on best practices.
• Litigation Support: Assist in the management of legal disputes, collaborating with external counsel as necessary.
• Research: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide informed legal advice.
• Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on legal compliance and best practices in real estate ifications:
• Suitable degree from an accredited law school.
• 5-10 years of legal experience, preferably in real estate law or a related field.
• Strong understanding of real estate regulations, contract law, and property rights.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with commercial and residential real estate transactions.
• Familiarity with land use and zoning issues.
• Proficient in legal research tools and software.
