Job description:
Working under the direction of the companies Head of Engineering and Product managers to develop IQ Platform products and features
Experienced and developer-centric test manager/ Lead QA to work on our API integration products to establish effective test harnesses that will enable us to deliver the product to a resilient production environment.
Reviewing and analyzing software requirement specifications.
Building up and leading the Testing Team to the success of project
Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
Deploying and managing resources for testing
Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team
Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement.
Testing and documentation:
Planning/Performing appropriate pre-release testing
Monitoring and managing technical issue reporting and documentation per project.
Review and correct test cases.
Review and correct tests scripts and test execution.
Review and preparation of test reports.
Effectively collaborate with other team and leads/members.
Support
Assist development and support staff, sometimes out of hours, with application releases and system upgrades
4th line support, including diagnoses and resolution of database issues, faults and rectification
Required experience
Essential:
QA Methodology
Manual testing
Automation testing
Selenium and writing automation scripts
Experience in other automation tools like Cypress
Regression testing expertise
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Working knowledge of test management software and SQL.
Knowledge in load testing tools like j Meter.
Most importantly - a passion for testing and the desire/flexibility to learn new things.
Desirable:
Basic programming skills in Java and Python
