Job Overview:

The Lawyer will provide legal support and advice related to all aspects of the construction industry, including compliance with RERA and MHADA regulations. This role involves contract negotiation, risk management, dispute resolution, and advising on project-related legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Review and Negotiation:

Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and related documents.

Ensure contracts align with company policies and legal requirements.

Regulatory Compliance:

Advise on compliance with RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) and MHADA (Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority) regulations.

Monitor changes in legislation that may impact company operations.

Dispute Resolution:

Manage and resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation as necessary.

Collaborate with external counsel when litigation is required.

Risk Management:

Identify legal risks associated with projects and propose strategies to mitigate them.

Conduct legal assessments and audits to ensure adherence to industry standards.

Legal Research:

Stay informed about legal trends and developments in construction law, including RERA and MHADA guidelines.

Conduct legal research to support company initiatives and projects.

Training and Guidance:

Provide legal training and guidance to project managers and other staff on relevant legal issues, including RERA and MHADA compliance.

Develop and maintain legal documentation and templates.

Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide proactive legal support.

Liaise with regulatory bodies and external legal counsel as needed.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Admission to the bar in [State/Region].
