LANSA / AS400 Support Lead

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support existing systems that manage programs, processes and data involved in the

manufacturing process using AS400 RPG.

• Hands on experience on (L1/L2/L3) application support/production support

• Experience in production support management processes & tools

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

• Should be able to Lead team and work individually and come-up with solutions for

technical challenges based on business requirements

• Able to identify problems and help and guide the team to deliver efficient and

effective solutions even beyond own tasks.

• Should able to perform Planning, designing & estimate

• Should able to prioritize work for self & team and handle support tickets & regular

tasks (L3) appropriately

Required Skills:

• Must have 8 + years of experience in both support and enhancement & maintenance

work

• Need to have professional Support & development experience in support, design

and programming with AS400 RPG.

• Strong understanding of native RPG.

• Experience with iSeries M4 very helpful.

• Experience with SQL, Queries, Web Services.

• Experience with EDI.

• Experience with Showcase Report Writer preferred

• Experience with RPGLE CLE and Lansa for I Series.

Other Skills:

• Knowledge on JDE a plus
