Plans and manages a survey team engaged in conducting land surveying that includes precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapmaking, land division, titles, mining among others
Report to the Senior Survey Engineer regarding project status, performance, potential issues and quality of the work
Analyzing survey data using plans, maps, charts and computer applications
Answering queries from the client regarding accuracy, time line and performance of the survey team
Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed by the survey team
Coordinates findings with work of survey team, lead engineer clients, and others concerned with project.
Acting as a point of contact presenting data to clients
Producing and advising about construction plans and drawings
Managing multiple projects and survey teams working at different locations
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualification: Diploma/. (Civil Engineer)
Minimum ONE year of experience in the engineering/survey industry
Should be proficient in using one or more survey instruments such as Electronic Total Station, DGPS, Compass, Auto Level among others
Should have knowledge of contour surveying, leveling, triangulation and procedures for establishing or reestablishing survey control
Must possess working knowledge of survey work for layouts, positions, co-ordinates, levels and elevations
Must have experience of Traversing and Topographical Survey and fixing the control point throughout the alignment
Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Hydro, Pipeline and Railways projects
Working Knowledge of Auto Cad and other surveying software packages
Strong analytical & an eye for details to ensure accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communications (English & Hindi), and computer skills
Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook required
Willingness to travel through out India
