Advertisement for the Position of JRF

Applications are invited for the position of Junior research fellow (JRF) on contract basis to

work in a time bound DST sponsored research project (DST/SEED/SCSP/STI/2020/412)

sanctioned to the undersigned at the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, Central

University of Tamil Nadu

Details of the position:

Project Title: Capacity building and promoting good husbandry practices among livestock

farmers for the livelihood, sustainable livestock production and upholding public health

Position: JRF 1 post

Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 + 8% HRA

Tenure of Position: 1 year, extendable annually till the completion of the project period,

subject to satisfactory performance.

Essential Qualification: MVSc in LPT/ MSc in Food technology / Dairy technology /

Meat technology/ Fish Technology/ Bakery technology / Microbiology/ Epidemiology/

MPH/ MSc Demography/MSc Health Economics/ MSc Biostatistics/

Biotechnology/Molecular biology and other relevant disciplines

Minimum 55% marks with NET/GATE and/ or qualification of any other national level

examination

Desirable: Prior experience in value added livestock products (Milk/ Meat/Poultry)

technology, Fish technology, Diagnostics, intervention research (Randomised trials),

operational research

Age limit: 35 years.
