Key Responsibilities
-Candidate Has work experience programming, testing, and commissioning advanced control systems in a variety of industries (. Pharma & Food Processing.)
-Should be sound enough to decide on the PLC/HMI/SCADA models as per the Customers URS.
-Should be able to make an I/O List as per the URS and P&ID.
-Should be able to write programming logic as per the Project.
-Ability to complete assigned tasks and maintain a schedule for multiple projects as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
-Ability to evaluate and convey the contractual scope of work and the impact of client-issued bulletins and/or scheduling changes to the assigned project manager.
-Background in electrical and instrumentation wiring and troubleshooting an asset.
-Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
-Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
-Experience reading electrical schematics/wiring diagrams and PI&D drawings.
-Must have an appropriate college or graduate degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering/ Instrumentation.
-Programming experience with .Net, C/C++, C#, VB/, SQL/TSQL/SQL+, or other high-level languages is a strong asset.
-Electrical design/drafting experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, promise, etc. is a definite asset.
-Flexible working hours with the ability to travel on occasion.
-Strong written and oral English communication skills. Any other spoken or written language would be considered an asset.
-Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
-Must have experience in pharma equipment & process
-Preparation of functional specification and validation Documents consider assets.
