Job Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior Accountant. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, tax filings, month-end closing, and other accounting activities. This is an on-site position, and the Junior Accountant will be located in Kolkata, India.

Qualifications

Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Basic understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts

Experience with accounting software, such as Zoho

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Relevant certification, such as CPA or CMA, is a plus

Experience in the retail or fashion industryisaplus
