Job Title: Junior Accountant
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various accounting tasks, utilizing your proficiency in MS Excel and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Data Entry:Accurately record and maintain financial transactions using accounting software and MS Excel.
2. Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
3. Reporting: Generate financial reports and summaries for management review, utilizing advanced features of MS Excel.
4. Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant financial information and ensure clear communication of financial data.
5. Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
6. Assist in Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Higher secondary education, Bachelor's degree in any field
2. Skills:
- Proficient in MS Excel with a strong understanding of formulas, functions, and data manipulation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
3. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
4. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
5. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Experience:
- Entry-level position; relevant internships or academic projects in accounting are a plus.
Most preferred: 2 years of work experience in operating ms Excel and tally
