The Principal will provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction for the academic and extra-curricular environment of the School. This position will be also responsible for recruiting and directing the development of the teaching and non-teaching/administrative faculty of the school. The Principal will lead his/her staff members to work cohesively as an efficient and professionally administered team to achieve a high degree of excellence in education, extra-curricular, sports and cultural areas of child growth. 1. Overall:
a. Accomplished educationist and strategic leader with experience of managing and leading
K-12 Schools ; well-versed with standard operating procedures, processes, regulations and norms governing CBSE Schools in the Delhi-NCR region.
At least 15-20 years of relevant teaching experience preferable in a reputed English Medium CBSE School, of which at least 4-5 years as PGT / HOD / Vice Principal and at least 5 years as Principal.
Will play a key role in the Schools improvement and planning process, development of curriculum, teacher training and understanding of institutional developments, administration, affiliation, academics and public relations.
Must have thorough knowledge of academic standards, teaching methodologies and education policy formulation.
2. Purpose: To serve as the chief administrator of the school in developing and implementing policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets in a manner that promotes the educational development of each student and the professional development of each staff member.
