RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, test, and maintain DTCC’s Jira implementation using its configuration capabilities supplemented by Groovy scripts.
Create custom workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and other Jira configurations to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and security.
Support creation and execution of test cases.
Document process using both narrative and diagram artifacts.
Troubleshoot and resolve Jira-related issues.
Manage Jira enhancements and Groovy scripts using source-code control.
Mentor other Jira developers.
Stay up to date with Jira developments and new features.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to build partnerships and facilitate discussions across the enterprise to help define requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and guide the execution of those requirements into process solutions.
Critical thinker who can identify potential Jira implementation improvements by studying current practices and business functions, evaluating alternatives, and designing modifications.
Understand and communicate operational impact of proposed changes.

Demonstrate persuasive communication skills with a special emphasis on two-way communication - hearing feedback and articulating reasoning for changes.
