Job Description:
Role Summary: Looking for 7 to 10 years of experienced candidate in Java backend development.
Responsibilities:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based backend services and applications.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshooting and debugging production issues across multiple environments.
Optimizing application performance and scalability.
Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.
Mentoring junior developers and helping them grow their skills.
Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Participating in the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Working closely with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services.
Skills:
Expertise in Java programming language and its ecosystem.
Proficiency in backend development frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
Experience with RESTful web services and API design.
Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Ability to write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Prerequisites:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
