Backend Engineer - Java

Full-Time, Direct-Hire or Contract

Location: Egmore, Chennai , Tamil Nadu (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

The company is looking for an engineer with a passion for web services development with experience. This is a terrific opportunity for an engineer interested in enabling the next generation of services and technology for the company's next-generation B2B payments and ERP platform.

Your skills and experience should cover:

6+ years of Experience in Java

Work experience with Spring Boot or Spring MVC is mandatory

Strong knowledge / working experience with Oracle 11g or higher

Experience with Hibernate or equivalent ORM is mandatory

Experience with developing user interface using HTML and Javascript

Proven experience of developing and maintaining new and existing web-based/data-driven web and standalone applications;

REST APIs design and development best practices

Experience with SCM systems like Git/SVN

Experience in Agile software development and continuous Integration systems like Jenkins

The following areas are highly advantageous:

Experience with Docker

Experience deploying microservices to AWS or Google Cloud Platform
