The Trainee Machine Operator will learn to operate and maintain various machines used in the manufacturing process. This role involves receiving training on machine setup, operation, quality checks, and basic maintenance tasks. The trainee will work under the supervision of experienced operators and supervisors, gaining the skills necessary to ensure efficient and safe machine operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation Training: Learn to operate different types of machinery used in the production process, including but not limited to CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and other equipment as required.
Quality Control: Assist in monitoring the production process and perform quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards and tolerances.
Maintenance Support: Help with routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to machine operating procedures.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, output, and any issues encountered during operation.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including senior operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel, to ensure smooth production operations.
