On behalf of our client, we are looking for industrial electricians with a good working knowledge of electronics, PLCs, troubleshooting, be familiar with power distribution, high voltage and be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own.

Please only apply if you are a qualified ITI Electrician and if you have:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably metallurgy industry)

- Experience on the following equipment: AC/DC motors, AC/DC drives, PLC’s and distributed I/O’s

- Great English skills (oral and written), French is a plus.

Tasks and responsibilities

- Receives instructions, drawings, diagrams, and work orders for jobs. Interprets drawings or diagrams and plans the details for the working procedure. Selects tools required.

- Knowledgeable on the proper isolation of circuits. Plans and performs work requiring a thorough working knowledge of electrical principles and codes, wire specification, the properties of various materials, the operation and application of equipment.

-Locates sources of trouble of any type of electrical equipment by tracing and testing circuits and inspecting for faulty operation (troubleshooting).

-Dismantles and assembles, inspects, repairs, adjusts, or replaces faulty parts and wiring on motors, generators, power distribution and control panels circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic devices, etc.
