Primary purpose of the role
This role is responsible for implementing infrastructure initiatives across a variety of projects, with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement along with assisting teams with moving workloads appropriately between private and public cloud.
This role is responsible for all physical and virtual infrastructure, ensuring all aspects of technology and systems are operating in line with Invias HA business requirements.
This role will work on all back-end technology aspects such as maintaining servers, switches, firewalls, & PC's.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an infrastructure role implementing or supporting data center deployed servers, virtualization, storage, backup & DR, database, Cloud and security solutions.
Key accountabilities
• Design, implementation, and support of Invia Data Centre Infrastructure (Server, Storage, Network Desktop, OS, Security)
• Manage, Monitor, Sustain, Troubleshoot, and Support existing Invia platform and solutions
• Support Invia Sales teams during conceptualization, estimation, and planning of new opportunities.
• Maintain support queues in line with SLAs
• Collaborate with various cross functional teams to resolve issues and delver projects
• Administration of Office 365 online services (MS Teams, OneDrive, Exchange).

• Excellent troubleshooting, incident, problem, and Change management experience.
• Strong hands-on Windows and Ubuntu System Administration skills
• Strong Security knowledge (Firewalls, AV, IDS/IPS, DLP etc.)
• Strong all-round networking experience (VLANS)
• MS Hyper-V experience implementing, administering & supporting
