This role is NOT for someone who needs a lot of direction as we are looking to utilize the successful candidate’s expertise in all things Sales & Business Development. 1. Build good working relationships 2. Understand the needs of your business customers 3. Research the market and related products. 4. Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale 5. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails. 6. Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business 7. Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries. 8. Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets 9. Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
10. Gather market and customer information. 11. Check the quantities of goods on display and in stock 12. Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets. 13. Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
