Position Summary:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the effective management and control of inventory within the textile industry. This role ensures optimal stock levels, efficient supply chain processes, and the alignment of inventory operations with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Planning and Control:
Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.
Monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
Forecast inventory needs based on historical data, seasonal trends, and sales projections.
Procurement Coordination:
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering of raw materials and finished goods.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the consistent quality and timely delivery of materials.
Warehouse and Storage Management:
Oversee the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of warehouse operations.
Implement best practices for storing textiles to prevent damage or loss.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in warehouse environments.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
Generate regular inventory reports, including stock levels, turnover rates, and shrinkage.
